The curriculum of the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro, is carefully designed to prepare graduates to excel in the field of accounting and meet the challenges of the business world. The curriculum is structured to prepare students for careers in corporate accounting, auditing, government accounting, nonprofit organizations, management consulting, taxation, as well as entrepreneurship. It is also aligned with the competencies required by the International Education Standards (IES) developed by the International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB), as well as the agreements established by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) through its Educators Accountants Division. As the curriculum is developed with the involvement of academics, practitioners, and other stakeholders, it provides strong relevance to careers in both accounting and business.
The curriculum is evaluated periodically to continuously improve the quality of the program. The most recent curriculum review was conducted in 2024 to align the curriculum with stakeholder needs, the provisions of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Permendikbud), and the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). Students are required to complete 144 academic credits (SKS) to earn a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Universitas Diponegoro.
