Semarang, September 2, 2026 – The Accounting Study Program at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) collaborated with KPP Madya Dua Semarang to organize the Pajak Bertutur 2026 program. The event served as an educational and discussion platform for students and lecturers to gain a deeper understanding of taxation and its role in Indonesia’s development.
Pajak Bertutur 2026 carried the theme “Pajak Kita, Energi Sang Juara” (“Our Taxes, the Energy of Champions”), encouraging young people to view taxes not merely as an obligation to the state, but also as one of the driving forces behind national development. Through the sessions delivered during the event, participants learned that taxes constitute one of the main sources of state revenue and play an important role in supporting the management of the State Budget (APBN) and financing various public needs.
Through this activity, students were encouraged to understand the connection between tax revenues and various national development programs, ranging from education and healthcare to social protection. This understanding is expected to foster greater awareness that tax contributions play an important role in sustaining development and promoting public welfare.
In addition to discussing the role of taxation in the State Budget, the event also highlighted the importance of tax compliance. Participants were introduced to the basic stages of fulfilling tax obligations, including registering as a taxpayer, calculating taxes, paying taxes, and filing tax returns accurately, completely, and clearly.
As members of the younger generation, university students have an important role in fostering a culture of tax awareness. Through Pajak Bertutur, students are expected to become agents of change as well as role models for tax compliance within society. This awareness also forms part of the preparation of the younger generation toward achieving Indonesia Emas 2045 (Golden Indonesia 2045).
The participation of KPP Madya Dua Semarang in this event is expected to strengthen the understanding of UNDIP Accounting students regarding taxation while encouraging the development of a generation that is knowledgeable, has integrity, and is aware of the role of taxation in national life and the functioning of the state.
Through collaboration between the education sector and the Directorate General of Taxes, Pajak Bertutur 2026 represents an important step toward fostering tax awareness from an early stage and preparing the younger generation to contribute to Indonesia’s development in the future.
